September 29, 2007, we had the 2nd Southern California Nordic Tug Rendezvous in Long Beach, California. A total of 17 Nordic Tugs from 26' to 42' converged in the Long Beach Harbor for a weekend of sharing Tug stories and adventures. After a day of touring each others boats, we all enjoyed a dinner with guest speaker Jerry, the founder of Nordic tug, and lots of wonderful door prizes donated by Nordic Tugs, Ballena Bay Yacht Brokers, Steve and Debi Rock owners of Fiddler's Green Restaurant in San Diego California, and West Marine. The next morning, Sunday September 30, 2007, eight Nordic Tugs made an "Avalon Run" to Avalon, Santa Catalina Island for a night or two.
